I’m pleased to say that I’ve been shortlisted in the North Notts Literary Festival, and invited to the awards event in Retford Town Hall on Sunday 15th September when the winners will be announced. Fingers crossed I’m in the top three.
The brief was to write a story under 6k with a theme of the local industrial heritage. Let’s just say, what I don’t now know about the Chesterfield Canal and the underground canal at Holmewood is not worth knowing.
Thank you too to the skilled Liz Carney-Marsh, the North Notts Literary Ambassador. Nottinghamshire needs you.
